Microsoft Office Suite:
MS Word: Document creation, editing, formatting, mail merge, advanced features.
MS Excel: Data entry, formulas, functions, charts, data analysis (sorting, filtering, pivot tables), advanced Excel concepts.
MS PowerPoint: Creating presentations, animations, transitions, design principles.
MS Access (Database Management System): Database tables, queries, forms, reports.
MS Outlook: Email management, calendar, contacts.
Internet & Web Basics:
Internet concepts, WWW, web browsers, search engines.
Email communication, online transactions (UPI, digital payments).
Introduction to HTML (for basic web page designing).
Semester 2: Accounting with Tally Prime & Advanced Applications
This semester delves into accounting principles and practical application using Tally Prime, along with other relevant skills.
Financial Accounting Fundamentals:
Basic accounting concepts, golden rules of accounting.
Types of accounts, journal entries, ledger posting.
Trial balance, final accounts (Trading, Profit & Loss A/c, Balance Sheet).
Introduction to GST, TDS, TCS.
Tally Prime with GST:
Introduction to Tally Prime: Company creation, features & configurations (F11, F12).
Accounting Masters: Creating groups, ledgers (single & multiple).
Inventory Masters: Stock groups, stock categories, stock items, units of measure, godowns/locations.
Voucher Entry: Accounting vouchers (receipt, payment, contra, journal, sales, purchase, debit/credit notes), inventory vouchers, order processing.
Advanced Accounting Features: Cost categories and cost centers, budgets, interest calculation, cheque printing, credit limits, reorder levels, price lists.
Taxation & Compliance:
GST: Activating GST, setting up GST rates, updating masters for GST, recording GST transactions (sales, purchases, returns, advances, reverse charge), generating GST reports (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B), e-way bills.
TDS (Tax Deducted at Source): Fundamentals, configuration, transactions, payments, reports.
TCS (Tax Collected at Source): Concepts and transactions.
Payroll: Introduction to payroll features, setting up payroll masters, processing payroll.
Banking: Bank reconciliation, cheque printing.
